The development for Affinity Online's new site is just about finalized. Just a few more tweaks and we're all set! We've also contracted with five new clients to get a new web presence up and going for them. Stay tuned for more info.

Time to get going on the site redesign again. We've got an awful lot going on, having picked up another few contracts, but we've gotta tend to our own projects as well! Look for Affinity Online's new site to be done by the end of February.

  • Affinity Online welcomes Lindsay Baker to the Design Team.
  • Lindsay has been a freelance designer and developer for several years. Her expertise in graphics and HTML layout are expected to allow more rapid development of the web design and redesign aspects of the company.

Affinity Online Marketing has picked up multiple new site development (and redevelopment) contracts and these projects are underway. Stay tuned for new information as we build, rebuild, and redesign the online presences of these local companies.

December 22, 2010

Using locally-owned Inspirational Design's services, we obtained a new logo and filed a DBA with the State of Michigan to operate under the name of Affinity Online Marketing. The name was changed to better represent what services the company offers.

November 19, 2010

Affinity's headquarters is to be relocated on January 1 to 104 South Union to better serve the needs of the downtown Traverse City area. We will plan an official ribbon cutting sometime in the late winter/early spring.

September 3, 2010

The position has been filled, though not given an official title yet. Freelance developer Jason Smallwood is stepping up to the plate to help get the Affinity sites and client base prepared for a January 1 legitimate launch of the new company.

June 22, 2010

Travis Cartwright has left the company for other pursuits and a suitable replacement is being sought. An ideal candidate will possess strong search engine marketing knowledge and experience with the ability to design and develop web sites and pages. The candidate need not be willing to meet face to face with existing and/or prospective clients and, if possible, needs to have the necessary software to perform duties as assigned.

Affinity Online Marketing has taken off as a separate entity from Affinity Tech Group. Legally named Affinity Marketing Group, LLC, the focus of the company will be to emphasize organic Internet marketing, specializing in local search campaigns involving all phases of the industry. These include, but are not limited to, web design and development, paid search marketing, social media marketing, and search engine optimization.
